The COGS Advice window displays the DRG Validity and Financial Impact Score for the chart. These numbers are calculated by running the chart through an advanced proprietary "subject matter expert in a box" that Streamline Health has developed utilizing the very best and the brightest coders and subject matter experts in the field.
The Narrative can be thought of as custom advice given to an auditor by an expert coder. These suggestions are meant to maximize the reimbursement for the chart and minimize any potential overpayments.
